As third Covid-19 wave continues, Pakistan reports 2,455 cases and 73 deaths
Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 2,455 cases of coronavirus were reported while 73 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 20,680.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 916,239.
As many as 836,702 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,083 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 338,377 in the province with 9,960 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 315,410 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,003.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 131,775 in the province with 4,043 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 25,001 confirmed cases while 273 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 19,108 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 539. On the other hand, there are 5,561 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 81,007 cases in the capital city while 755people have lost their lives.
