Fake bank accounts: IHC grants permanent bail to Zardari on medical grounds
Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has approved permanent bail of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in fake bank accounts case on medical grounds.

According to details, court has also barred National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to arrest former president.
Zardari was granted bail over the suspicious transaction of worth Rs. 8 billion.
During proceeding, counsel of PPP’s leader said that they are seeking bail or medical grounds as the case is in its inquiry stages.
Court after inquiring NAB prosecutor about the authenticity of medical reports, granted him bail on medical grounds.
Earlier, accountability court had indicted Asif Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in mega money laundering reference. The court had also rejected former president’s plea seeking acquittal in mega money laundering, Thatta water supply and Park Lane references.
