Most parts of Lahore face loadhsedding amid scorching heat
Lahore: Most parts of Lahore and its adjoining districts continue to face loadshedding for hours amid blistering heat.
According to details, most areas in provincial capital are facing hours of loadshedding in addition to forced shutdowns being observed by the Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) in peak hours owing to overloading of the system.
Reportedly, Iqbal Town, Township, Muslim Town, Singh Pura, Gari Shahu, Davis Road, Chuburji, Mughalpura, Shadman, Shahdara, Islampura and its adjoining areas are experiencing unannounced loadshedding.
The power outages have resulted in water shortage in the areas as well.
On the other hand, Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has said that more than 8 hours of loadshedding will be done in high loses areas.
