Lahore: Peshawar Zami beat Islamabad United by eight run in a crucial match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 at Gaddafi Stadium on Monday night.
Zalmis scored 201 runs by losing five wickets after Islamabad United won the toss and opted to bowl first. It was the 13th match of PSL 9.
Babar Azma showed amazing performance by scoring 111 off 63 balls, and remained not out. Saim Ayub scored 38 off 21 balls.
The long stay of Babar Azam on the crease helped his side to set a formidable challenge for the United.
In response, the United fought well but scored only 193 for nine.
Azam Khan emerged as the top scorer for United as he made 75 runs off 30 balls. He won the hearts by showing amazing performance during clash with the Zalmis. However, his score could not help his side to win the match.
