PTI boycotts senate’s session
Deputy chairman senate Mirza Afridi postponed the session by March 1.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has protested in the senate’s session and boycotted the house.
According to the details, chairman deputy senate Mirza Afridi chaired the senate’s session. PTI’s senator Faisal Javed appeared in house after a long time then the PTI’s senators welcomed him.
PTI’s members protested in favor of imprisoned women in jail by picking up the play cards and surrounded the chairman’s dice.
After that senators walk out from the house amid not providing the mike by the deputy speaker. Barrister Ali Zafar stated that its been nine months since PTI’s women are in jail amid political revenge.
If they got free from one jail then they got arrest in another one. Democratic system is consisted on constitution. It is declared in the constitution that whoever have won seats they have the full right on those seats, Ali Zafar added.
PTI’s lawyer said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has done an undemocratic and unconstitutional act by asking our seats in election commission.
PML-N’s senator Sadia Abbasi demanded the resignation from the chief election commissioner in the senate’s session and said that give those seats to PTI from whom they have won in elections.
She called this election unfair and she said that no one can hide the facts from this elections process. She claimed that PML-N was on top in the elections of 2018 but now PTI is not top of all the political parties.
Sadia said that if Khadija Shah got bail then why don’t they grant bail to Yasmin Rashid, Sanam Javed and others. This is why Khadija Shah got the reference while others don’t. Senator Ijaz Chaudhry’s production orders should be issued.
