According to the constitution the president selection should be within 30 days after general elections.


Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will issue presidential elections’ schedule and public notice on March 1.
According to the details, the persons who desired to be elected for the position can submit their nomination papers from today (Tuesday) till March 2 at afternoon 12pm is the deadline to submit the papers.
These nomination papers will be submitting to the presiding officer. According to the constitution the president selection should be within 30 days after general elections.
However, it is declared in the constitution’s article 91 and 130 assembly’s first seat will be compulsory after the elections within 21 days.
