‘Queen’ does not know about poverty in country, Dr. Yasmin
Yasmin Rashid stated: ‘Instead of speeches, Maryam Nawaz should think of the hunger of poor people who do not have money for one-time meal.
Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid referring to newly election Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that the Queen does not know how much poverty there is in the country.
Yasmin Rashid while talking informally to the media in Lahore stated: ‘Instead of speeches, Maryam Nawaz should think of the hunger of poor people who do not have money for one-time meal.
The former health minister added that Ramadan package will not work, people have to live even after Ramadan. People are dying of hunger, if they will not get the relief they will not spare them.
She continued to say that she knows about the poverty. Having worked in a government hospital for 35 years, she knows that people do not have money to buy an injection.
Yasmin further said that the women who got more than 100,000 votes are in jail, the three-time prime minister's daughter has come to the power by rigging.
The PTI leader also stated that those who lost in Form-45 won in Form-47 and the courts remained silent spectators, the mandate of the people was stolen.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that those who sold the incident of May 9 have become those of February 9 today. The people rejected the narrative of May 9 on February 8.
