It should be noted that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were imprisoned for seven, seven years in jail in the illegal nikkah case.


Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi nikkah case's plea against the verdict of imprisonment has been fixed for hearing today (Thursday) at 12pm in district and session court Islamabad.
According to the details, judge Shahrukh Arjumand heard the illegal nikkah case in the district and session court.
It should be noted that Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were imprisoned for seven, seven years in jail in the illegal nikkah case. However, under the Pakistan Panel code section 496 Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan are found to be guilty in illegal nikkah case.
The court stated that both the accused will be imprisoned for four more months of the total imprisonment in case if they will not pay the fine.
