Nuzhat Sadiq will take oath as a member of the National Assembly.


Islamabad: Senator Nuzhat Sadiq of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Thursday resigned from the Senate seat.
Senator Nuzhat Sadiq submitted her resignation to Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani which he accepted. Nuzhat Sadiq will take oath as a member of the National Assembly.
On the other hand, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari of Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) has also resigned from the Senate seat.
Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor also submitted his resignation to Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani which he accepted and issued the notification.
The JUI leader will also take oath as a member of the National Assembly today.
It is pertinent to note that the newly elected members of the assembly will take oath today, after which the nomination papers for the speaker and deputy speaker of the national assembly will be submitted today.
