Saudi Arabia invites ASP Shehr Bano, family as royal guests
All of her and family’s visit expenses to Saudi Arabia will be borne by the Saudi government.
Islamabad: Saudi Arabia has invited Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shehr Bano Naqvi of Punjab Police Pakistan as royal guest.
The Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan H. E. Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al Maliki met ASP Shehr Bano Naqvi of Punjab Police, who saved a woman dressed in Arabic calligraphy from a raged mob in the Ichhra market of Lahore.
On behalf of the Saudi ambassador, Nawaf bin Saeed, a ceremony was held in honor of the female police officer at the Saudi embassy.
According to a media report, the Saudi ambassador paid tribute to the police officer.
While she has been told that all of her and family’s visit expenses to Saudi Arabia will be borne by the Saudi government.
It is pertinent to note that ASP Shehr Bano Naqvi has also been praised by the Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) for her bravery.
