As per sources, NAB has recommended closure of the inquiry into Hafizabad train accident when no substantial evidence was found against former Railway Minister.
Earlier in January, the anti-graft watchdog closed an inquiry into the purchase of locomotives for want of evidence, against Kawaja Saad Rafique.
The NAB had initiated the investigation against ex-minister on a complaint that he had procured the locomotives on exorbitant rates when he was railways minister.
