Mahmood Khan asks vote from Fazl-ur-Rehman for presidency
On which, JUI’s president Fazl-ur-Rehman said that he will inform Achakzai after consulting with the other members.
Islamabad: Sunni Ittehad Council’s (SIC) nominated candidate for presidency Mahmood Khan Achakzai has asked vote from Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam’s (JUI) president Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman for the post of president.
According to the details, Mahmood Khan Achakzai has met with Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman regarding the presidential elections. The two leaders also discussed the political situation in the country.
Mahmood Achakzai stated that having an old relationship and both of us have spent time together in the movement hope you will support us.
On which, JUI’s president Fazl-ur-Rehman said that he will inform Achakzai after consulting with the other members.
It should be noted that the nomination papers of presidential candidate Asif Zardari and Mahmood Khan Achakzai have been submitted in High Court
