The leadership will decide that who will contest the election on the vacant seat of Yusuf Raza Gilani.


Islamabad: The former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has decided to contest the Senate elections.
According to the spokesperson Gilani House, Yusuf Raza has submitted his nomination papers for the Senate elections.
The spokesperson said that the nomination papers have been submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on behalf of their lawyers.
He stated that the leadership will decide that who will contest the election on the vacant seat of Yusuf Raza Gilani.
It is pertinent to note that former Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani was elected as a member of the National Assembly in the general elections. He resigned from the senatorship before being sworn in as a member of the National Assembly. Experts say that Yusuf Raza Gilani will be the candidate of Senate Chairman after being elected.
