LHC summons interior secretary in Sheikh Rashid case
According to the details, the bench consisted on justice Mirza Waqas Rauf and justice Sadaqat Ali Khan heard the plea.
Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) bench has summoned interior secretary Aftab Akbar Durani tomorrow (Wednesday) amid Awami Muslim League’s (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid’s plea to withdraw his name in Exit Control List (ECL).
According to the details, the bench consisted on justice Mirza Waqas Rauf and justice Sadaqat Ali Khan heard the plea. The Deputy Prosecutor appeared in the court on behalf of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
He stated that he has got all the information from the regional offices of NAB from all over the country hence the institution does not need Sheikh Rashid in any case.
Later, the court summoned the interior secretary and ECL’s Secretary in personal capacity and adjourned the further hearing of the case till March 6.
