According to sources, Marriyum Aurangzeb is likely to get the Ministry of Planning and Development and Forests.


Lahore/Peshawar: The swearing-in of the Punjab Cabinet will be held today at 4:00pm at Governor House Lahore, where in the first phase, around 15 ministers will take oath in the Punjab Cabinet.
The nominated ministers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also take oath today. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at 6:30pm at Governor House Peshawar, where the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will take oath of the new cabinet.
According to sources, Marriyum Aurangzeb is likely to get the Ministry of Planning and Development and Forests, while Azma Bokhari will be appointed as Information Minister of Punjab.
Sources said that Khawaja Imran Nazir will be the Minister for Primary Health, Bilal Yasin for Food, Mujtaba Shuja for Excise, Khalid Jaja for Agriculture Department and Faisal Ayub for Housing and Sports.
Sources further said that Salman Naeem and Rana Iskandar Hayat are also likely to be made ministers.
According to the sources, Rana Sanaullah is likely to be made the Punjab Law Adviser, while the proposal to take him to the Federation is also under consideration, apart from this, Parvaiz Rasheed will be made a Special Assistant.
Sources said that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain's son Shafay Hussain will also be appointed as a minister.
It is also reported that the list of names of members for the new cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also been prepared which includes more than 15 names.
The names of Mushtaq Ghani, Khaliq-ur-Rehman and Aqibullah are included in the list of the new cabinet, while under the list, Arshad Ayub, Taj Muhammad Tarand and Shakeel Khan will also be part of the new cabinet, reportedly.
The names of Fazal Shakoor Khan, Pakhtun Yar and Meena Khan are also included in the list of cabinet members.
