Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has acceded to support Pakistan Peoples party’s (PPP) president Asif Ali Zardari in presidential elections.


Karachi: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has acceded to support Pakistan Peoples party’s (PPP) president Asif Ali Zardari in presidential elections.
According to the details, there was a coordination committee’s session in which MQM’s leader Khalid Maqbool Siddique and PPP’s leaders have discussed about the presidential elections. In this session Khalid Maqbool also told about the telephonic call from Asif Zardari.
Later that MQM has decided to support Zardari for presidency due to the struggle of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
However, the coordination committee also said that PPP affirmed MQM to support them in their demand regarding the amendment in constitution in a positive way.
