Chairman SIC challenges reserve seats in LHC
This act of election commission is against the constitution and also out of its jurisdiction, chairman SIC Hamid Raza added.
Lahore: Chairman Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Hamid Raza has challenged reserve seats matter in Lahore High Court (LHC).
According to the details, in the plea of Hamid Raza election commission and so many other sponsors are included.
It is stated in the plea that neither election commission is tribunal nor the court. The SIC should get their reserve seats in Punjab assembly amid proportion of seats. It does not matter that whether SIC contested in elections or not.
However, this act of election commission is against the constitution and also out of its jurisdiction, chairman SIC Hamid Raza added.
