Advocate general Punjab Khalid Ishaq appeared in the court.
Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has postponed the case till next week regarding to discard the verdict against former chief minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi.
According to the details, justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry headed the division bench and heard the case. Advocate general Punjab Khalid Ishaq appeared in the court.
Khalid Ishaq and applicant’s lawyer asked time from court to prepare the case. The court gave the time to both and postponed the hearing.
Pervaiz Elahi stated in his plea that the single bench’s decision is against the law and the judicial magistrate has the right that if he could not find any proof against the accused then he can discharge him from the case.
Single bench termed judicial magistrate’s verdict as null and void. It is pleaded from the court in Pervaiz Elahi’s plea that the court should maintain this verdict of discharge Pervaiz Elahi in anti-corruption case.
