Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also accompanied him during visit of the Quaid’s mausoleum.


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari visited mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi today to pay tribute to the father of the nation.
Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also accompanied him.
The President laid floral wreaths at the mausoleum and offered fateha. He also recorded impressions in the book of visitors.
Earlier, President Zardari decided not to draw his salary in view of prevailing economic challenges. According to a statement issued by the president house, the President took this decision to encourage prudent financial management in the country.
He considered it essential not to burden the national exchequer and preferred to forgo his salary.
