Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday issued a notice on the contempt of court petition against the Superintendent of Adiala Jail for not allowing meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
In the Islamabad High Court, Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz heard the petition of Allama Nasir Abbas for not allowing meeting the former Prime Minister Imran Khan despite court orders.
The petitioner's lawyer said that the Islamabad High Court issued orders to meet the founder of PTI on March 8, 2024.
The petitioner's lawyer further said that contempt of court action should be taken against the Superintendent of Adiala Jail and the family members and lawyers of the founder PTI should be allowed to meet.
After hearing the arguments of the petitioner's counsel, the court issued a notice to the Superintendent Adiala Jail for March 15.
