It is stated in the plea that Sadaf Ahsan is not a party’s member and also her name is not in the list of JUI.
Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has made election tribunal in Lahore High Court (LHC) on the matter of reserve seats.
According to the details, this tribunal is made for hearing on objections regarding reserve seats of national and provincial assembly of women. Justice Rasel Hassan Syed has been appointed as election tribunal.
In this tribunal, the pleas will be filed against the returning officers’ (RO) verdicts. On the other hand, on the quota of Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-F (JUI-F) an unknown woman’s victory notification has been issued on reserve seat from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s national assembly.
President Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI) Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has filed a plea to cancel this notification and investigate the victory of this woman.
It is stated in the plea that Sadaf Ahsan is not a party’s member and also her name is not in the list of JUI so her victory’s notification should be canceled.
