Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said new media law will be beneficial for the media workers.

Taking to twitter, the federal minister said under the new law, media workers would be able to move courts against media houses in case of non-payment of salaries.
“The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) opposed the amendment as their interests are attached with the owners, not workers,” he added.
میڈیا کے نئےقانون سےصرف فائدہ میڈیا ورکرز کو ہے جو تنخواہیں نہ ملنے پر اپنے اداروں کے خلاف عدالت سے رجوع کر سکیں گے، پیپلز پارٹی اور نون لیگ نے اس ترمیم کی پہلے بھی مخالفت کی اور اب بھی کریں گے کیونکہ ان کے مفادات ورکرز سے نہیں سیٹھ کے ساتھ ہیں
