The core committee has issued a list of five anchors and party leaders have been bound to boycott the program of these anchors.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) directed the party leaders not to participate in the programs of five journalists and anchors who conduct talk shows on private TV channels.
This decision was taken yesterday in the PTI core committee meeting for which the notification has also been issued.
In the circular issued after the meeting of the PTI Core Committee, it has been stated that party leaders have been banned from participating in the programs of certain TV channels and anchors.
The core committee has issued a list of five anchors and party leaders have been bound to boycott the program of these anchors.
Among the five anchors and their programs announced by PTI are Kamran Shahid's program 'On the Front' on Dunya News, Adil Shahzeb's program 'Live with Adil Shah' on Dawn News, Muneeb Farooq's program 'Mera Sawal with Muneeb Farooq' on Sama TV.
The boycotted journalists and programs also include two more anchors Shahzeb Khanzada and Salim Safi and their programs 'Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada kay sath' and 'Jirga' both on Geo News.
