Iranian ambassador said that Iran wanted to promote trade and regional cooperation with Pakistan by opening more border crossing points.


Islamabad: Iranian ambassador Raza Amiri stated that the purpose of Pak-Iran gas pipe line is to increase the strategic relations between both the countries. He desired to make sister ports by connecting Gwadar and Chah Bahar.
According to the details, a ceremony has been arranged in the honor of Raza Amiri in chamber of commerce Islamabad. He was addressing to the chamber.
Iranian ambassador said that Iran wanted to promote trade and regional cooperation with Pakistan by opening more border crossing points.
He wished that he would try to make Iran a part of rail link and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor plan. He also said that both countries’ collective trade has reached to $2.50 billion in previous 11 months.
Raza Amiri affirmed that Iranian president will soon visit Pakistan on the invitation of prime minister Shehbaz Sharif. He added that Iran do not want to make any kind of relations with Israel amid the strikes in Gaza.
