Karachi: Punjab and Sindh senate’s 12,12 seats has started to submit nomination papers for elections.
According to the details, candidate can submit nomination papers in provincial election commissioner Punjab office till March 16.
The elections will be held on seven general seats of senate in Punjab, two women, two technocrat and religious scholar and on one non-Muslim.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed till March 19 and the appeals can be filed against the approval or rejection of the nomination papers.
The tribunal will be giving verdict on these appeals by March 25 and on April 2 the polling will be conducted in Punjab assembly from 9am to 4pm.
