Pak among 10 countries affected by climate change, reveals Foreign Minister
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan is among the 10 countries most affected by climate change.

According to details, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in his address during a ceremony related to climate change said that Pakistan wanted peace with neighbouring countries, adding that the Prime Minister had always taken steps to protect the environment.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the task of the Foreign Ministry was to establish peace with the neighbouring countries while climate change is an important issue all over the world.
The Foreign Minister said that the people of Pakistan should understand that “our country has been affected by climate change and now we are heading towards a crisis and we have to take steps to protect this country from pollution.”
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that steps are required to protect this country from pollution. “Our efforts in the field of environment are being recognized and appreciated globally.”
FM Qureshi said that Imran Khan wanted to give a better natural environment to the future generation of Pakistan as climate change is important all over the world, especially in Pakistan.
Foreign Minister concluded while saying that PM Khan started an initiative with the Billion Tree Tsunami in KP and now “we are going to start 10 billion Tree Tsunami programme,”
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan, leading from the front has taken the initiatives to provide a better and secured future to the coming generations.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the world is now recognizing the steps taken by Pakistan for the protection of the environment.
The Foreign Minister said the government is committed to make Pakistan a greener and cleaner country.
