Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday said that in the vaccination campaign, the province is following the federal government policy.

“70,000 people are being vaccinated, but we want to meet the target of 200,000 vaccines daily,”
He expressed these views while attending a meeting of the Prime Minister's National Coordination Committee (NCC) with members of the coronaVirus Task Force via video link.
He said that a system of mobile vaccination has been developed through which 100,000 vaccines will be administered daily.
CM Sindh said that Karachi has 10.22% cases and Hyderabad has 9.21% cases while other cities have 3.68% cases.
Murad Ali Shah thought that 22% of cases were registered in the East District of Karachi during the whole week, while 10% of cases were logged in Central and Southern Districts.
While giving details of the deaths he said that there were 361 deaths in Sindh in the last 30 days, of which 228 patients were on ventilators.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that there was good coordination among all the provinces on the situation of COVID-19.
He said that the province's hospitals, especially private hospitals are full.
He further said that the COVID-19 hospitals have also run out of capacity, adding that there is pressure on hospitals in Sindh due to new cases.
