Rawalpindi: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur met with PTI founder Imran Khan at Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail on Saturday.
The meeting, lasting 30 minutes, focused on the current political landscape of the country.
The sources said that the discussion took place in the jail's conference room, with Gandapur foregoing any official protocol during his visit.
Earlier in the day, Gandapur filed a plea in court seeking permission to consult with Imran Khan on legal and political matters during his incarceration. The plea emphasized the importance of maintaining the privacy of their meeting.
This move follows Gandapur's previous efforts, where he appealed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for assistance in arranging a meeting with Imran Khan. The prime minister assured Gandapur of facilitating the meeting, even amidst the heightened security measures at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
