Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has discarded nomination papers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leaders Murad Saeed, Azam Khan Swati and Mehmood Khan for senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the details, ECP issued the non-final list of candidates for the Senate election from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Collectively 30 candidates’ nomination papers have approved by the ECP.
However, ECP approved 16 candidate’s nomination papers for general seats, eight for technocrat and 6 for women seats.
