However, the concerned Returning Officers (RO) directed the lawyers of both the candidates to give a statement regarding the objections.

Lahore: The objections were imposed on the nomination papers, submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leaders Hammad Azhar and Moonis Elahi for by-elections held in Lahore.
According to the details, Hammad Azhar submitted nomination papers from NA-119 and PP-164 constituencies of Lahore whereas the former federal minister Moonis Elahi submitted papers from PP-158.
It is stated in the objections imposed on the papers of both PTI leaders that Hammad Azhar and Moonis Elahi are judicial proclaimers and not eligible to take part in elections for being judicial proclaimers.
However, the concerned Returning Officers (RO) directed the lawyers of both the candidates to give a statement regarding the objections.
