Indian actor Karan Mehra arrested after wife files complaint of assault, get bail later
Mumbai: Karan Mehra, who is popularly known for his character of Naitik from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was arrested after wife Nisha Rawal files complaint of assault.
According to details, Nisha filed a complaint against her husband at Goregaon Police Station following a domestic dispute. Nisha stated in her complaint that Karan allegedly pushed her against the wall resulting in her head injury.
Police registered an FIR the actor and arrested him for questioning. The actor stayed at the Goregaon Police Station for recording statement and was later released on bail. He will now be produced before a magistrate court.
Rumours of couple’s troubled marriage were taking rounds in media for some time now.
Karan and Nisha got married in November 2012 after dating for a few years and also appeared together in Nach Baliye 5. The couple welcomed their first and only child ‘Kavish’ in 2017.
