However, Shehzad Wasim failed to gain favor from any political party.
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) has agreed to return the papers of covering candidates.
According to the details, the discussion is on final stage on returning the alternative candidates in both parties. If the covering candidates would have withdrew then the victory can be achieved on general seats without competition.
It should be noted that from Punjab PML-N five and SIC are in a position to win two general seats. On the other hand, independent candidate Shehzad Wasim has decided to withdrew from elections by not getting the favor of any political party.
However, Shehzad Wasim failed to gain favor from any political party in senate elections.
