Seven injured as guard opens fire in Karachi
Karachi: In a tragic incident, seven men were injured after a security guard opened fire near Khayban-e-Shujaat area of Defence in Karachi Wednesday afternoon.
According to the details, a show was being filmed in the area and the guard attacked the crew after a heated argument broke out between security guard and crew members.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the injured to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment.
The suspect, however has been taken into custody.
The injured people have been identified as Sher Khan, Akber, Idrees, Farhan, Zahid and Shehzad.
The injured have been out of danger, says doctors.
Further investigation into the incident is underway.
