PTA directed to submit reply against X shutdown
The lawyer PTA took the stand that one such case is under hearing in the court of Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan.

Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Tuesday directed Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) counsel to submit a reply by April 29 on the petition filed against the shutdown of social media app X (Twitter).
Justice Asim Hafeez of LHC heard the petition filed against the shutdown of X by Advocate Huzaifa Sehgal.
In the petition, it has been argued that the court should declare the closure of social media app X illegal and should order the parties to ensure public access to X.
The lawyer PTA took the stand that one such case is under hearing in the court of Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan.
Justice Asim Hafeez talking to the lawyer PTA said: “I personally want to hear the case against the X shutdown, I want to know why you have done it”.
On the petition filed against the X ban, the Lahore High Court directed the PTA's lawyer to submit a reply by April 29.
