So, the court should suspend the victory’s notification of Azhar Qayyum.


Lahore: The Lahore high court (LHC) has canceled the victory’s notification of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate Azhar Qayyum from NA-81 the constituency of Gujranwala.
According to the details, judge justice Shahid Karim heard the plea of Sunni Ittehad Council’s (SIC) Bilal Ejaz Chaudhry.
It is stated in the plea that Bilal Ejaz got victory from 8,000 votes. Election commission gave victory to opponent candidate Azhar Qayyum on recounting of votes.
Applicant pleaded that the returning officer (RO) has made the votes 2,500 less on the plea of recounting votes. So, the court should suspend the victory’s notification of Azhar Qayyum.
Later then the court approved the plea of Bilal Ejaz and suspended the victory’s notification of PML-N’s candidate Azhar Qayyum.
