Rawalpindi: US Embassy delegation visited Adiala Jail and met Noor Muqaddam murder case convict Zahir Jaffar, the delegation was also given consular access to the convict.
US Embassy staff visited Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi and was given consular access to Noor Muqaddam murder case convict and American citizen Zahir Jaffar.
A delegation from the American embassy reached Rawalpindi from Islamabad to meet the criminal.
A three-member delegation included Michael Murphy, Osama Hanif and Naveed Ghazi who met the criminal Zahir Jaffar in the Deputy Superintendent's room.
After the meeting, the delegation of the American Embassy left Adiala Jail and returned to Islamabad.
It is pertinent to note that the accused Zahir Jaffar has been convicted in the murder case of former diplomat's daughter Noor Muqaddam, and is in prison after the court sentence.
