Islamabad: The Islamabad high court (IHC) has issued arrest warrant of interior secretary because he did not appear in court despite court orders of on not removing vlogger’s name from exit control list (ECL).
According to the details, IHC issued bailable arrest warrant of interior secretary. The court had summoned the report today (Friday) from interior secretary within one hour on the plea to withdraw vlogger’s name from ECL.
Despite the court orders, IHC had expressed indignation on not removing vlogger’s name from ECL.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq asked interior secretary to tell the reasons of not removing vlogger’s name from exit control list (ECL).
He said that if a satisfactory answer is not received then contempt of court proceedings will be taken today.
The official lawyer told the court that director general passport is in its way and he will be arrived soon. On that justice Sardar Ejaz remarked that what he will be saying that he was told by the interior ministry.
