Govt adds 200 megawatts of electricity to K-Electric
Islamabad: Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar Thursday said that the federal government has added 200 megawatts of electricity to K-Electric to help address the load-shedding issue in Karachi.
As per details, the federal government issued a dire warning to the Karachi-Electric (KE) to resolve the power woes of the city, warning it of an extreme step otherwise.
On his official twitter handle, he said the federal government was already providing 350 megawatts of electricity to K-Electric.
کراچی الیکٹرک کو وفاقی حکومت کی طرف سے پہلے 350 MW اضافی بجلی فراہم کی جا رہی تھی۔ کراچی کے شہریوں کو لوڈشیڈنگ سے نجات دینے کے لئے اس مقدار میں مزید 200 MW کا اضافہ کر دیا گیا ہے۔
