The meeting which lasted for an hour was arranged under the directives of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on the Eid day.


Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan had a meeting with his spouse Bushra Bibi at Adiala Jail on Wednesday.
The meeting, which lasted for approximately an hour, was arranged under the directive of the Islamabad High Court.
Bushra Bibi was escorted to Adiala Jail from their residence in Bani Gala under tight security arrangements.
After the meeting, she was safely returned to Bani Gala by the police.
Imran Khan, who is currently detained at Adiala Jail, spent Eid al-Fitr there.
The latest reports suggested that both Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, a senior member of PTI, performed Eid prayers at the jail's mosque.
