It has been said that in view of the fear of slow poisoning, her health may be affected.


Islamabad: Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, filed an application in Islamabad High Court (IHC) for medical check-up.
In the petition filed by Bushra Bibi, it has been said that in view of the fear of slow poisoning, her health may be affected, the court should allow the test to be conducted at Shaukat Khanum or any private hospital of her choice.
The petition filed through the mediation of lawyer Shoaib Shaheen stated that Bushra Bibi has many secret cameras installed in the bathroom of sub-jail as the bathroom provided is compromised.
It has been added in the petition that Bushra Bibi was poisoned in food, there is a heavy presence of men in sub-jail. There is serious concern and reservations about the food given in sub-jails, there is a burning sensation in the mouth and throat after eating.
In Bushra Bibi's application, it is also said that she does not consider herself safe in sub-jail, therefore she also applied for transfer to Adiala Jail. She has severe life threats in sub-jail, there is also fear that revenge will be taken through slow poisoning.
The petition states that fundamental rights under the Constitution of Pakistan should be ensured, the parties should be ordered to strictly adhere to Articles IV, IX and XIV of the Constitution.
