No obstacle in public relief to be tolerated: Azma Bokhari
She stated that the first plane of air ambulance has reached Pakistan which can land in a small place also, this facility will be free for public.
Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari Monday said that any obstacle in public relief will not be tolerated.
Provincial Information Minister Azma Bokhari while addressing a press conference in Director General Public Relations (DGPR) said that every government talked about Air Ambulance but no one could do it. It has been one and a half months since Maryam Nawaz took over as Chief Minister and she has surpassed everyone in this post.
She stated that the first plane of air ambulance has reached Pakistan which can land in a small place also, it does not need a runway to land, this facility will be free for public. Three air ambulances and two helicopters will be used for rescue. Exercises are being conducted for Air Ambulance.
Talking about reducing in the prices of naan and roti, Azma said that low-cost roti was also an initiative of Shehbaz Sharif, now Maryam Nawaz has announced a decrease in the prices of roti and naan. The reduction is done after regular homework, those who buy roti and naan from the market should also benefit.
The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said that the price of 20 kg of flour has been reduced by Rs500, the price of flour will be reduced further in the coming days, and the mafias who obstruct the relief of the people will not be forgiven.
She continued to say that they reject the position of the Nanbai Association. She requested the Association that the government does not want to be harsh with anyone, any obstacle in the relief of the common man will not be tolerated.
Bokhari further said that the price of 100 grams of roti has been set at Rs16 and naan will be given at Rs20, the order to reduce the prices of roti and naan should be implemented.
