Court approves physical remand of GEPCO officers
It should be noted that 20 officers and employees of GEPCO were detained by FIA last night.
Gujranwala: The court has approved physical remand of Gujranwala electric power company officers (GEPCO) arrested on charges of making fake billing and bogus entries.
According to the details, the federal investigation agency (FIA) produced the GEPCO officers arrested and employees before the court where the court approved the two-day physical remand of the accused and handed them over to the FIA.
However, among the arrested accused are five revenue officers, assistant manager and additional managers. Apart from this, six divisional account officers and five commercial assistants and employees are also included in the accused.
FIA had registered a case against GEPCO officers and employees for making fake billing and bogus entries. It should be noted that 20 officers and employees of GEPCO were detained by FIA last night.
