CPA files plea to NEPRA on increasing power price
National electric power regulatory authority will (NEPRA) be hearing the plea on April 26.
Islamabad: The CPA has issued advertisement of the plea regarding to increase the power price for Rs2.94 per unit only for one month.
According to the details, the increase in power price has been asked by the CPA in the fuel price adjustment in the month of March.
It is stated in the plea that from the hydel the production is 27.63 percent, from the coal the production is 10.74 percent and from the limited natural gases (LNG) the production is 20.67 percent in March.
The power has been produced 25.79 percent from nuclear in March while from the wind 2.55 percent and from solar 1.37 percent. The cost on the production of power has come to Rs73 billions.
