Islamabad: Pakistan is all set to receive eleven million doses of several Chinese coronavirus vaccines including Sinopharm, Sinovac and Cansino in June, National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has confirmed.

According to details, meeting of National Command and Operation Center was held in Islamabad to discuss and review ongoing coronavirus situation in the country.
The meeting decided to allow reopening of educational institutions from June 07 in districts where Covid-19 positivity ratio has declined.
NCOC further said that uninterrupted vaccination drive is underway and the arrival of vaccines will help Pakistan in speeding-up its mass vaccination drive.
On the other hand, a special aircraft of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has arrived in Islamabad with one million doses of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.
Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.
According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,923 cases of coronavirus were reported while 84 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 21,189.
The total number of cases has reached 930,511.
As many as 860,385 patients have recovered from the disease with no critical cases.
