Vote counting for by-elections on 21 national, provincial assemblies' seats continues
The Election Commission of Pakistan confirms that the polling took place across various constituencies, encompassing five National Assembly seats, twelve Punjab Assembly seats, two seats each for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and the Balochistan Assembly.


Islamabad: Vote counting is presently underway following by-elections held to fill twenty-one vacant seats across the National and Provincial Assemblies in Islamabad.
The Election Commission of Pakistan confirms that the polling took place across various constituencies, encompassing five National Assembly seats, twelve Punjab Assembly seats, two seats each for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and the Balochistan Assembly.
The polling for these by-elections ran continuously until 5 PM without any interruption.
To ensure transparency and address any concerns, the Election Commission established Election Monitoring and Control Centers at provincial, divisional, and district levels, in addition to their central Secretariat in Islamabad. These centers are instrumental in registering and resolving public complaints throughout the electoral process.
