Islamabad: The government has declined to make Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat as chairman public accounts committee (PAC).
According to the details, a new conflict has made between the government and opposition on the matter of chairman PAC. Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) had nominated Sher Afzal Marwat as chairman PAC.
Speaker national assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq told the government’s point of view to opposition leader that Sher Afzal Marwat is unacceptable for chairman PAC.
However, the government is favored to make chairman PAC to an experienced parliamentarian and serious person. The option has been given an option to suggest a new name for chairman PAC.
