During the hearing, Sheikh Rashid’s lawyer filed a plea of release.


Rawalpindi: Former interior minister and Awami Muslim League’s (AML) president Sheikh Rashid has filed plea of release against May 9 cases.
According to the details, three cases heard in Rawalpindi’s anti-terrorism court (ATC) against Sheikh Rashid and his nephew Sheikh Rashid Shafique of May 9. Sheikh Rashid appeared with his lawyers Sardar Raziq and Sardar Shehbaz before the court.
During the hearing, Sheikh Rashid’s lawyer filed a plea of release. On which the court issued notice on the plea of release and postponed the hearing till May 14.
It should be noted that the cases are registered in the police station of Tesla, Murgha and Cantt regarding the May 9 cases against Sheikh Rashid.
