Azma Bokhari clarifies her statement regarding Maryam’s outfits
Clarifying his point, the Information Minister added that she did not say that Chief Minister does not wear branded clothes but she prefers simple clothes now.
Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has clarified her statement and said: “I did not say that Maryam Nawaz does not wear branded clothes, however, she now prefers simple dresses”.
Talking in a program of a private news channel, Azma Bokhari stated regarding the lifestyle of Maryam Nawaz that after becoming the Chief Minister, she has made major lifestyle changes, the old clothes are even before the elections. Maryam Nawaz mostly likes simple clothes.
Clarifying his point, the Information Minister added that she did not say that Chief Minister does not wear branded clothes but she prefers simple clothes now. Maryam Nawaz does not need anyone's permission for what she is wearing.
Azma Bokhari continued to say that in the Eid show, I had said that sometimes I think that I wear more expensive clothes than Maryam Nawaz, but it should be about the performance of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
It is pertinent to note that earlier information minister had discussed Maryam Nawaz's fashion sense in a Tv show, a video clip of which went viral on social media.
Speaking in the program, Punjab Information Minister said that Chief Minister of Punjab does not copy anyone but everyone copies her, Maryam mostly does online shopping.
Bokhari had further said that Maryam Nawaz wears small brands’ lawn shirts but she still looks very beautiful. She has the best fashion sense. Maryam Nawaz buys lawn dreses worth Rs500, Rs600 or Rs800 found in the market. It's not about the price and brands of the clothes, but the real thing is how someone wears these clothes, I myself take inspiration from her.
