The court adjourned the hearing till May 7.
Islamabad: The court has approved the interim bails of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leaders Gohar Khan, Omar Ayub and including others in the case of holding rally for releasing the arrest supporters.
According to the details, the additional district and session judge Awais Muhammad Khan heard the bail plea of the accusers. From the accusers’ side Ali Bokhari advocate, Ansar Kiyani, Murtaza Tori advocate and others appeared before the court.
The lawyer stated that the administration filed a baseless and forged case. This case was filed on political base. Whenever PTI is doing a peaceful protest a new case is being registered.
The lawyers pleaded that the bail should be approved of the leaders and the court should bar the police from the arrest.
Later then the court approved the interim bail of PTI leaders for the transit guarantee of Rs5,000 and issued the notice to the parties for the submission of the response.
The court adjourned the hearing till May 7.
