Maryam Nawaz says necessary steps are being taken to implement Punjab Community Safety Buildings Regulations.


Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that the Firefighters Day is a day to recognize the sacrifices of firefighters who save people trapped in fires.
Maryam Nawaz paid tribute to the firefighters by saying that how can they forget the rescuers who give their lives to save others.
“I salute every brave firefighter on International Firefighters' Day,” said the CM.
She stated that those who jump into the burning fire for others without caring for their own lives are the real heroes.
She also stated that the firefighters brave every challenge in the line of duty.
The CM also highlighted that it is important to implement safety measures to prevent fire incidents, adding that implementation of building safety laws would be ensured to protect high-rise buildings from fire.
The Punjab CM also stated that necessary steps are being taken to implement Punjab Community Safety Buildings Regulations.
